Parliament of Owls - Jack LathamOn the right is a photo from Parliament of Owls by Jack Latham of a woman standing in the redwood forests of Monte Rio in northern California where the exclusive gentlemen's San Francisco Bohemian Club is for the business elite and politicians. The photo is of a woman standing in the woods wearing a Richard Nixon mask. When analysing the photo I split the photo up into sections and realised how the photo is split and positioned perfectly in the fact that the woman eyes are exactly in the middle of the image and then if you where to cut the image in half the right side has lots of human activity and items and then the left side is almost completely filled with nature. |

Here are a couple of photos from 'Parliament of Owls' that I really like. The reason I like this book is because the photos in the book don't stick to one style or genre like portraits or landscapes there is a wide range for example the two photos 'Mary as Nixon' and 'Protest cabin number 3'. I think they was the book is made is also really interesting this is because the book is done in suck a way you can open the space in-between pages on different pages for example there is a double page filled with a screenshot of a CCTV camera with two men and then the space in-between the two pages has them entirety of the two men's conversation. Another reason why i think these photos are great is because of how it was made by this i mean both the fact that to make the book more extensive and interesting he used different photographers photos and different styles and how the book is made using different styles of layout.
